Just wanted to give you all a couple of updates:

1.  Tennis NB is announcing today that the East Coast Open scheduled for July 3-5 in Moncton/Dieppe/Riverview will be cancelled for this year.  The success of this tournament relies heavily on increased numbers from our friends in Nova Scotia, PEI, and other provinces.  With our borders still being closed to recreational travel, and no indication that this might change anytime soon, players from outside NB would not be able to attend and the event would not be what is has been in the past.  It will be back on the calendar for 2021.

2.  We have moved further into the yellow phase of the provincial recovery and this means that indoor tennis can now be played again and gathering of up to 50 people with physical distancing is also now allowed.  Our guidelines for safe play still remain in place and will not change for a while.  This is for your protection and those that you play with.

3.  Given the progress into phase 3, note that the 2 modified tournaments mentioned below will be taking place.  There are still a few spots left in all divisions.  We will be adding a couple more of these after we see how the first two go before we transition into bigger tournaments later in July.
